About AML Finance
AML Finance is a Community Interest Company (CIC) focused on improving financial wellbeing, strengthening financial confidence, and increasing awareness of financial safety.
We exist to create space for honest, practical and accessible conversations about money — for individuals, couples, and communities.
Why We Started AML Finance
AML Finance was created in response to a gap that many people experience but rarely speak about.
Financial decisions are often treated as purely practical — yet in reality, they are shaped by emotion, upbringing, relationships and life experience.
Many individuals and couples navigate significant financial decisions without ever having had structured, open conversations about money.
This can lead to confusion, misalignment, stress, and in some cases, financial harm.
AML Finance was created to address this gap — by combining financial understanding with space for reflection, clarity and honest conversation.
The Meaning Behind the Name
The name “AML” is derived from the root letters of the Arabic word for hope.
Hope is a central theme in our work.
We believe that regardless of past experiences — whether shaped by family, society, or personal challenges — it is always possible to develop a healthier and more confident relationship with money.
AML Finance represents that possibility: a move towards clarity, stability and informed decision-making.
Our Perspective on Money
We recognise that money is not a two-dimensional subject.
Financial behaviours are often shaped by:
Our work goes beyond surface-level financial advice. We focus on helping individuals understand their relationship with money, so they can make decisions with clarity rather than reaction.

This ensures that all work is both practically grounded and professionally informed.
